Independent & Assisted Living

Many seniors have an independent mind-set , no matter what their care needs are!

Some senior living communities have a daily schedule like you’re on a cruise!

Activities often include morning exercise, card games, guest speakers, happy hour and wonderful dining options.

Pricing usually includes a base price, and if you have temporary or daily care, that is added on separately.

Group Homes

Group homes offer a smaller, home-like environment, since they actually are in residential homes, that include 24-hour care, meals, and most living expenses covered.

They are under same guidelines as per the Department of Health Services, so many reputable group homes are a perfect solution, for those who would not participate in dozens of activities in a larger community.

Group homes are often priced lower than communities.

Memory Care

If your loved one faces the challenges of memory loss, both senior living communities and group homes can be an option.

Memory Care communities are secured (locked), and many activities are centered around what brings joy to those with Alzheimer’s or dementia. This often includes music or trivia they are familiar with, from ‘years-gone-by.’

Best of all, every staff member is trained on how to make each resident feel at home, including how to re-direct someone who may become agitated, especially later in the day.

Group homes are also an option and may be more affordable, but with fewer activities.

The Details Matter.

I want to gain a thorough understanding of what you or your loved one desires in a senior living home.

There are many active seniors in communities who participate in many scheduled activities throughout the day.

Others benefit from a smaller group home setting, where they can enjoy other residents company and attentive care staff to provide care throughout the day.

Memory care provides a secured environment, focused on care for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
